Fred Ulfe, known as Huaynapicchu or Young Mountain, was born in Pacasmayo on the northern coast of Peru. At age nine he began his encounter with master plants such as Tobacco and sacred Huachumo.

Fred Ulfe Huaynapicchu
Fred Ulfe, known as Huaynapicchu or Young Mountain, was born in Pacasmayo on the northern coast of Peru. At age nine he began his encounter with master plants such as Tobacco and sacred Huachumo.
His journey brought together northern Peruvian healing traditions, the Amazon and the Andean worldview. He learned alongside masters of the Huaringas, the Onayas Antonio and Martín Muñoz, and Martín Paucar of the Q’ero nation.
Don Aurelio Díaz Tekpankalli led him along the path of the mountain, Vision Quest, the Sacred Pipe, Sun Dance and Star Dance. Following his ordination, he accepted the mission of carrying a message of peace through ancestral ceremonies and sacraments.
