Sacraments (Master Plants)
AYAHUASCA
THE MEDICINE OF GOLDEN PEACE
Today, perhaps half of the people who inhabit this world have heard or expressed this word, AYAHUASCA, whose vibration resonates constantly in the minds and hearts of men and women with a thirst for knowledge, truth and peace...
Far from resorting to the etymology of the root of the original language called QUECHUA. We would like to say that we take this medicine, AYAHUASCA, to be well in our mind, the heaven of our thoughts. To be well in our heart, which would reach the capacity to be grateful for the gift of our existence. To be well in our being, in the capacity of having realized peace with all our relationships.
In this direction and sense, to have reached the health of our body, the temple that welcomes the sacred that dwells within us.
CAMALONGA
ALL POWERFUL AND MAGICAL MASTER PLANT
CAMALONGA is a shrub native to Asia that grows in the lower Amazon basin and whose seeds are macerated and used in sacred ceremonies. Many remarkable qualities are attributed to this medicine, most notably its tremendous liberating power.
The ancient Murrayas, priests, ascetics, saints, legitimate healers. Those who, without any favor, felt “part of all things”, are still in the memory of the SHIPIBO, original nation of the Peruvian Amazon on the banks of the Ucayali river.
Those fabulous men and women met along the way with this wonderful plant that today is the most important of our sacraments next to our wonderful Ayahuasca.
The Murrayas took Camalonga and became one with this plant. They received its instructions, blessings and power through prolonged fasting.
Today, I must honor the memory and spirit of the ancient Murrayas. Likewise, to thank the lives of the Onayas (healers) of the SHIPIBO family for the mutual deference of recognizing us as brothers and sisters and to obtain the grace from them: Fidelia Franco and Cesar Mainas, to carry this medicine in order to share it now with you, dear family of this Sacred Fire.
SACRED TOBACCO
SAIRY TUPAC
It is a plant native to America. Nowadays it is consumed indiscriminately in a social way, having completely broken the link with the Spirit of this master plant.
Notwithstanding the above mentioned, in this good path of knowledge of the wisdom of the heart that we strive to perpetuate, we find in our rituals or ceremonies of medicine that we celebrate, the ideal context to ponder on the right way to relate to the spirit of things. This is how we ratify ourselves in the following reiteration. Tobacco is the first medicine, the first sacrament, it is the gentle and kindly herald that carries the voice to the four directions....
There are several ways to use it for spiritual purposes. In our sacred fire ceremonies, we use the work together with a corn leaf to pray, to raise a prayer, to express the purpose that summons our attendance and participation in an Ayahuasca ceremony, in a medicine ritual.
